Look no further than the ICT Competency Profiles, the first of its kind that lay out national occupation profiles for employment in the ICT sector in Canada. This innovative tool is available online and offers a wide range of customization options to employers, educators, ICT job-seekers, and seasoned professionals. The improved online features will allow users to create customized ICT job profiles based on the national standards of knowledge, skills and abilities within 36 ICT work streams in Canada.  Profiles include a description of the occupation, educational background, key activities, tasks and performance indicators, as well as technical, business and interpersonal competencies required to successfully perform each job.

If you are an employer, you will be able to:

  • Review comprehensive job profiles from a national database, and match relevant competencies and behaviours with specific positions within their organization.
  • Share, develop and archive effective interview guides in order to help ensure prospective employees align with required skills and experience.
