ICTC GOES OVERSEAS: SOUTH KOREA

In March, ICTC visited Seoul, South Korea, where we met with internationally educated professionals (IEPs) and our partner S.U.C.C.E.S.S at their South Korea office. The Metro (subway) was a great way to travel through this capital city of over 20 million people.

LOOKING FOR SOFTWARE PROFESSIONALS AND ICT MANAGERS
FOR SURVEY

The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) is currently doing research into what kinds of language skills are needed to work in the sector. The Centre for Canadian Benchmarks (CCLB) has been retained by ICTC to undertake this work. The results of this research will inform the ICT Competency Profiles, as well as provide a clearer indication of the communication skills required for workers in the sector. This initiative is funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
