Labour Force Survey: Monthly Reports: ICTC provides monthly results from the Labour Force Survey for IT occupations, using household information collected by Statistics Canada. The goal is to classify working age Canadians as employed, unemployed or not in the labour force. National Survey of IT Occupations ICTC conducted the National Survey of IT Occupations to underscore the critical role the IT sector and its workforce play in Canada ’s competitiveness, as well as to satisfy the need for LMI on the sector. This landmark s urvey covers almost three-quarters of Canada’s IT labour force, including 35,000 public- and private-sector employees, and more than 25,000 employers in more than 11 regions. It is the first national survey to offer results that are relevant to both the private and public sector, and is the largest study of IT LMI ever undertaken in Canada. ( View Survey)
