Maureen Ford is Senior Program Manager and National Lead, Women in Technology Initiatives at ICTC. She has over 20 years of experience gained in senior management positions in the financial, logistics management, and application management services sectors. Her areas of expertise are leadership, organizational change management and development, project management and talent management in both corporate and not-for-profit organizations.

Maureen believes creating innovative initiatives and programs that increase opportunities for women to thrive and succeed in technology are essential because it’s just good business sense for Canadian industries, women, and the digital economy. The WIT Initiatives drive ICTC’s aim of facilitating greater collaboration and partnerships amongst industry, academia, associations, and government to increase opportunities that improve and promote the participation, attraction, retention and advancement of women in Canada’s digital economy.

In her previous role at ICTC, she implemented and managed several of ICTC’s bridge training programs that successfully connected employers to employment-ready newcomer ICT professionals. ICTC’s bridge training programs are work-force based solutions that prepare and assist internationally educated and experienced ICT professionals to secure employment and continue their career in Canada.
