Vincenzo Spiezia
Senior Economist, Measurement and
Vincenzo Spiezia (PhD in Economics) is the Head of the Information and Communication Technologies Unit in the Directorate for Science, Technology and Industry of the OCDE. He coordinates the activities of the Working Party on Measurement and Analysis of the Digital Economy (MADE). His current research activities focus on the impact of ICT on employment, skills and innovation. Before joining the OECD, he was Senior Economist at the International Labour Office in Geneva, where he contributed to a series of studies on the economic effects of globalisation. He is author of several publications in books and international journals about innovation and employment.
